The app
The map of benches worth the detour.
A community map of the most beautiful public benches: photos, ratings out of 10, reviews. Wake up forgotten benches, collect your discoveries.
Free. No account needed to explore. Coming soon to iOS and Android.
The concept
3,000,000+ benches are asleep on the map.
Grey dots, no photo, no name. Nobody has told their story yet.
Underneath, the benches from OpenStreetMap. On top, the ones the community documents: a photo, a rating, a review. All the others are waiting for their moment.
The wake-up
Be the first to wake one up.
A photo, a rating, a name you choose. Your discoverer title stays on the bench page forever.
Less than 30 seconds on the spot: the location fills itself in.
The rating
Rate every bench out of 10.
Comfort, view, vibe: the community decides.
And sometimes, an exceptional bench earns the rare 11/10.
The collection
Collect them all.
GPS-verified check-ins, discoveries, tiered badges: your profile becomes your collection.
From "Casual sitter" to "Bench guardian", every badge is earned.
The most beautiful benches are waiting.
Download Benchscape and wake up the bench next door.
