Base map

The app's base map is served by OpenFreeMap, a rendering of data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Bench data

The "dormant" bench layer comes from the OpenStreetMap database (amenity=bench nodes), published under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0.

Community data published under ODbL

In accordance with the ODbL license, the geographic data added by the Benchscape community (identifier, position and existence of benches missing from OpenStreetMap) is periodically published on this page, under the ODbL 1.0 license.

First export coming soon. Exports will be published here every quarter.

What is not covered

Photos, ratings, reviews and bench names are content belonging to Benchscape and its contributors. They are not part of the data published under ODbL and remain governed by the terms of use.
